Purpose: To stimulate the knowledge and love of gardening, to aid in the protection of trees, plants and birds, and to encourage civic planting.
Slogan: All the flowers of all the tomorrows are in the seeds of today.
Meetings: 10 a.m. on the 4th Wednesday of each month
Our emphasis is community beautification. We regularly work at Fountain Park, weeding, pruning, and planting. Other areas where we have lent a helping handare the Life Care Center, Children’s Advocacy Center, and the Free Clinic.
We are proud to claim the 37th President of The Garden Club of Kentucky, Ann Fiel, as one of our members.
We offer a wide variety of programs that cover horticulture, birds, floral arranging, butterfly gardening, environmental concerns, creating rock walls and much more.
We are a friendly, casual group and welcome visitors.
