Richmond Garden Club

Richmond Garden Club

Bluegrass District

Richmond, KY

The Richmond Garden Club organized 1958 and federated 1959. The purpose is our desire to make our members and community more appreciative of the beauty, excitement, and satisfaction of gardening. Members maintain a Monarch Butterfly Garden in the city’s Million Park off Tates Creek Road. Every two years we present a horticulture scholarship to a horticulture student at Eastern Kentucky University. Artistic exhibits are made for the Richmond Area Arts Council, Gallery on Main, McCready Manor senior living, and for community businesses and leaders. Members donate garden supplies for new Habitat homes. Some meetings are travel, we visit area gardens and have speakers from our community who share the love of gardening. Guests are welcome.

Meetings:  The fourth Tuesday of each month at 12:30 p.m.
