Linda Porter, Pollinator, Butterfly and Monarch Waystation Chair for The Garden Club of Kentucky, will be the guest speaker at a meeting of the Southern Kentucky Chapter of Wild Ones: Native Plants and Natural Landscaping. Her presentation will introduce you to the diversity of native plants that could grow again on your property—and how to make that native diversity come alive for you by attracting butterflies, birds, and bees to your yard.
Linda is an avid native-plant gardener who has helped install native plant gardens and prairies at churches, schools, libraries and homes. Her personal garden was included on the Danville Kentucky Garden Tour in 2019. In her role of Community Outreach Chair, she has traveled in the Bluegrass area educating others on the importance of gardening for pollinators and other wildlife using native plants.
