The GCKY Environmental Studies Council voted to participate in a project of removing the invasive Italian Arum at the arboretum located at our state Headquarters 616 Pleasant Street, Paris. The date is Friday, May 15th, starting at 10:00 AM. After researching, the only way to rid our grounds of this invasive plant is to dig it up, roots and all.  We are calling our project The Big Dig. Please join us in this great project!

Bring your shovels/trowels and especially your gardening gloves, as this plant is toxic to humans and animals.
