Our club partnered with First Connection School to conduct an end-of-school event in the city park. Club members taught the children about the life cycle of the butterfly and then we helped the children make clothes pin/tissue paper butterflies. This little boy was so excited to see the butterfly become “real”.

Our June’s Youth Gardening Program was “Kentucky Reptiles and Amphibians in the Garden”. This little boy was so excited to see an albino snake he wanted it but then became hesitated when the handler wanted to put it around his neck; he ended up holding it!
