Your Invitation to “Mountain Laurel Springtime Magic!”
A special invitation is extended to each of you! We hope you will come join us at the 93 rd
Annual Convention of The Garden Club of Kentucky, Inc., held at the beautiful, historic Boone
Tavern in Berea. Come experience “Mountain Laurel Springtime Magic!” We have an exciting
group of speakers who will entertain and educate us in ‘behind the scenes magic’ of float
building, how to create a magical space in the heart of town that increases local food security,
the magic of wildflowers and other native plants that are all around us, and the magic that well
designed gardens lend to both small and grand properties.
And you can take a tour of the magical downtown garden. You can paint your own magical
Bluebird House while learning about these little creatures that were popular with early
American colonists, associating bluebirds with the coming of spring.

Despite the rise of cost in food, we wanted to keep the same meal prices as last year’s
convention in hoping you will come. And please note that the registration fee is based on
number of days in attendance and not a one set fee. We know that some cannot nor want to
attend all three days. Again, we have made this change to encourage you to come.
We look forward to seeing friends from all over Kentucky and making new ones!
